COVID-19 Business Advisory
As part of its COVID-19 business support initiative, the New Zealand Government has allocated additional $40 million of funding to support businesses via the Regional Business Partners Network COVID-19 Business Advisory Fund.
Eligible business owners can access up to $5,000 per business from the COVID-19 Business Advisory Fund.
Depending on business needs, funding can be used with a range of registered service providers

COVID-19 Advisory Funding
The COVID-19 assistance available through the RBP program is the provision of up to $5,000 to offset professional service costs in relation to:
- HR & Employee Relations and Legal
- Financial and Cashflow Management
- Health and Wellness
- Business Continuity Planning
- Marketing Strategy
- Digital Enablement Strategy
To be eligible, you must:
- have undergone a brief assessment with an approved RBP Growth Advisor
- employ up to 100 staff
- be registered for GST in New Zealand
- be operating a commercial enterprise.
It is important to note that approval is not automatic, but the clear intention from the Government is to get support to businesses promptly.
